SLA Printing For Watch Tooling

With 3D printing, we are able to design and manufacture specialty tools which are caliber specific for any watch brand or movement. This helps us to service watches faster and more professionally without the need for costly machining times.

Extremely Precise Manufacturing

The SLA printer uses a special UV curing liquid resin which is turned into a solid by a special UV high resolution screen. The printer cures in layers and pulls the part out of the liquid resin. These parts are almost seamless, and are extremely acturate in dimesion from the original drawing.

FDM Printing

With the use of filament-based 3D printing, we are able to rapidly produce large, durable components for a wide variety of applications in our watch service workflow. From specialized tools and movement holders to custom fixtures and protective cases, we can design and print exactly what we need—on demand and in-house. At the center of this capability is our Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, an advanced 3D printer known for its exceptional speed, accuracy, and reliability. This machine handles complex geometries with ease and excels at printing challenging materials such as PETG, ABS, and flexible TPU, which are often required for strong, impact-resistant or elastic parts.
Its multi-material support and high-resolution output make it ideal for watchmaking applications where precision and fit are critical. Whether we’re creating a one-off holder for a unique vintage case or a custom tool to assist with disassembly, this technology allows us to quickly adapt and solve problems without delay—enhancing both our efficiency and the quality of service we provide.
